The latest in the series is USTAD BISMILLAH KHAN who was awarded the highest civil honour, Bharat ratna two days after he made an enthralling presentation in the central lawns of the college this year. RED CROSS SOCIETY The holy discourse of blood, where all blood is one. It is linked to aims & approaches of the international Red Cross Society. An annual blood donation camp is a regular feature. SPORTS COMMITTEE Selects , nurtures and launches the sports person at all levels. Recommends freeships and financial help to the needy, ensures the spirit of sportsmanship to develop unhindered. SUBJECT SOCIETIES The societies of various disciplines deepen the spirit of academic seriousness, by deviating from an examination oriented encounter, to a real face-to-face meeting with the subject. The college publishes its annual magazine called ‘SAMADRISHTI’ and also puts up a wall magazine called ‘SRIJAN’. PHOTOGRAPHY AND PAINTING CLUB A Forum for young artists and photographers. ALUMNI ASSOCIATION An interactive Alumni Association was launched by Samadrishti, the college magazine last year to promote linkages between the old students and the new. SPORTS, NCC & NSS: A SONNET FOR SPORTS AND CADETSHIP Sports is surely an epic of the physique, but also of the mind. The college has conducive environs for sports, with vast expanse of field and an optimum technical support. The college is one of the leading affiliates of the National Cadet Corp. The current strength of the college NCC wing is 70. At least 5 of our cadets qualify every year in OA or IMA tests. The college is an equally significant NSS affiliate.
